Today in office while I was wondering what to do, raking my brains about the pending lists and looking at my outlook calendar, I saw my Inbox showing a new mail.

The title was..

What are you waiting for…?

It was a mail from one of my dear friends in Pune. The mail goes like this….

Today morning I heard AD on radio mirchi saying, KK bazaar is offering discount on the height and weight one has. Jitna jyada weight utna jyada discount. Sahi hai na… jaldi bhago n grab the opportunity….
Mast discount milega….ha ha ha

This definitely made my morning good and hilarious. 

It was a mail sent to our friends list so, if you are wondering who the ‘you’ here points to, it’s not me. Firstly, I am still slim and quite trim and secondly, I am not in Pune :-) 

There are other potential candidates for this… I am sure you remember the lady in lead role in the watch my weight piece. Oh, yes there are others also..

AD in the above mail is one of the Pune’s Radio Mirchi RJs.

The more the weight, the more the discount… well this must be the only time my dear friends will wish that the scale moved the other way.

The weight loss programs better watch out, they should think redesigning their programs for weight gains.

I was really amused by the daring offer, as if the masses flocking KK Bazaar was not enough that now they are inviting heavy weight masses. Each one first getting on the weighing machine, then beaming proudly at the reading, and possibly collecting a token for their prize claim on discounts. How thrilling! 

I immediately called up hubby and informed him that he was missing an opportunity of a life time. What a loss!
