The Pizzazzy

Since google is upto its quarterly page rankings and I am too waiting for some ranking (now I am PR0), I was having a good time checking the rankings of some sites. I also checked how much my site was worth. It was  interesting to find that there are website worth millions and mine is just a new born compared. www.dnscoop.com, tells you based on certain assumptions and inbound and outbound traffic, google indexing, how much a site is worth.

Few sites that I checked were google, yahoo, rediff, hotmail, orkut, kidsandbibs and of course thePizzazzy.

Interestingly yahoo is no 1 and google is no 2.

Coming back to more relevant readings for me, it says that each link that I sell on my site should cost $3/month and if I happen to sell 8 such links, I make additional $24/month on whatever I am making currently through affiliate programs and google adsense. And if I happen to sell my site it would earn me $123. My site is worth $268 today.

Some more interesting figures can be found on www.alexa.com of traffic to any site. Check them out and have a good time looking at all the bigger fishes in the blogosphere. This was one of my random musings on a lazy saturday afternoon.
